Barley Swine has been serving fresh and innovative small plates, craft beers and fine wine since December 2010. Created by award winning Chef Bryce Gilmore, Barley Swine is committed to serving small, sharable plates with big flavor while sourcing ingredients from local farmers.

Our commitment to responsibly sourcing our products shines through the daily offerings from our local farmers and the constantly evolving menu. Barley Swine recommends you order multiple dishes to share with your friends and family. We cater the beer and wine to our food, with the idea of pairing the best with the best.

Barley Swine uses the motto “find the best ingredients and don’t mess them up.” This allows us to create an innovative menu using only the freshest ingredients in the most creative ways. While the techniques and artistic plating set a modern tone for the space, Barley Swine is all about having fun, enjoying good company and leaving it all on the table. Barley Swine continues to elevate the Austin dining scene with Gilmore as one of the city’s youngest and most talented chefs.

Barley Swine features communal high top tables with 42 seats total and operates on a first come, first serve basis. While the majority of seating is walk ins, we do accept limited reservations Monday through Thursday between 6pm - 6:30pm, and 830pm - 9pm.
